As Mayor of San Jose, he spearheaded innovative solutions to address the homelessness crisis and expanded the San Jose Police Department to make the city safer. He delivered balanced budgets, brokered a plan that saved taxpayers $3 billion, and built affordable housing. Sam has a plan to tackle our biggest issues, from homelessness, to crime, to the cost of living. He will fight for us in Congress and will never settle for business as usual.
